Cadbury World is a visitor attraction created and run by the Cadbury chocolate company. Whilst not a factory tour, Cadbury World offers its visitors the opportunity to explore and discover chocolate's history, to learn about the origins and story of the Cadbury business - one of the world's largest confectionery manufacturers. Cadbury World features fourteen different ‘zones’, each concentrating on a different aspect of the chocolate making process and Cadbury’s history. They are: Aztec Jungle, The Journey To Europe, Bull Street, The Cadbury Story, Making Chocolate, Manufacturing, Packaging, Cadabra, Demonstration Area, Advertising Avenue, Purple Planet, The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, The Bournville Experience, and Essence And Children’s Playground.
This all weather attraction is extremely popular especially during school holidays and pre-booking tickets is essential. We recommend wheelchair users are accompanied by a companion as assistance may be required with negotiating the moveable queueing barriers at the entrance, a couple of doors (most are automatic) and some of the steeper internal ramps. Please note time slots are allocated for viewing the exhibtion which takes approximately one and a half hours and you need to present yourself 15 minutes prior to the alloted time so it might be advisable to visit the toilets and refreshment area beforehand. Wheelchair accessible toilets. Assistance dogs welcome.
